- I am a regular guy in my mid-forties. I have a lovely wife and three great kids. When I was in College my friends and I were always into music. As people's lives get busier with family and work it is difficult to keep abreast of new music. I have created this blog to expose people like me to some new music as well as old favorites. On Fresh Air today (Terry Gross interview show on NPR) they played an interview she did with Les Paul about 20 years ago, when he was in his mid-70s. It was great. He talked about how at one point he shattered his elbow in a car accident and was going to lose movement in his elbow anyway, so he had them set it permanently at the angle he needed to hold and play a guitar.
